Role activities
• As a member of ASML's Machine Control department's data-driven development groups, you will play a crucial role in developing and constructing software solutions that enable our lithographic machines to operate with high productivity and nanometer accuracy. You will also ensure that system interfaces adhere to industry standards.
• ASML recognizes the importance of software as an integrating competency, and you will be involved in all stages of the software development process, including specification, design, qualification, and integration into our industry-leading products. As a senior software design engineer, you will be responsible for defining requirements, making efficient design decisions, implementing designs, and verifying their implementation.
• Additionally, you will estimate the effort required for each task, identify dependencies on other team members, and collaborate with your SAFe/Agile team to schedule your activities and agree on delivery deadlines for required specifications. The software you deliver will be thoroughly documented and qualified using automated test cases.

Functie-eisen
• You should have proven proficiency in programming languages such as QT, C, C++, object-oriented programming, Unix/Linux, Solaris, Python, and software configuration management tools like ClearCase and GIT.
• You should have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• You should have experience working in a SAFe or Agile team environment and implementing lean practices.
• Experience with QT, code generation, factory automation-related data and control protocols (SECS, EDA, etc.), data management, and security is advantageous.
• You should have at least 8 years of experience working in a high-tech environment.
