Job Description
Elevate the engineering journey for 8,000+ developers by shaping an actionable, personalized, and proactive IT delivery ecosystem that unlocks business value.

You & your role
Lead the design vision for Rabobank's IT delivery ecosystem as Lead Designer Engineering Experience. Partner with senior architects, tech leads, and business owners to align the experience with strategic goals. Guide and mentor a small team of designers to translate vision into intuitive, consistent journeys for distinct user groups while managing the team backlog and priorities.

• Establish standards, patterns, and governance so experiences remain coherent across applications and teams at scale.
• Moving the engineering platform forward by developing a design strategy and design roadmap for the eco-system.
• Define outcome metrics and link design work to business value through experiments, measurable adoption, and clear impact on developer effectiveness.

You & your talent
• 15+ years of experience as a designer and design lead in a large corporate context.
• Proven discussion partner for senior stakeholders in a vast and complex IT landscape.
• Track record translating complex problems into simple, intuitive solutions for specific user groups.
• Experience designing for software delivery tooling in a technology-driven environment.
• Experience with complex journey frameworks, preferably in an enterprise experience context.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
